Like the title says, looking to see if anybody knows anything about these conversions? I know it is open top, etc..etc.. but I've always wanted one in BP, saw they make them in .38 special. Thought it would be a great plinker to play around out in the desert or range. Kind of makes me want to grab a stogie and practice some eye squinting... :D

I've heard that the Uberti's were okay quality wise. If you do get one, be sure to shoot some downloaded "cowboy" loads in it.

PS I've always wanted one too.

I like it! Now I want one even more..just need to decide what to sell? I wonder if you need to slide the barrel forward to pop out the cylinder or if a wooden dowel is used to push out empties through the gate? Either way would definitely be a conversation piece where ever you pulled it out!

Looks like it's got an ejection rod hanging off the barrel and since it's got a loading gate, I'd say it unloads the same as any modern Single Action. Pre-safety block, of course.
