Hope someone can answer this. I have a new Ruger single action .44 magnum. It fires real fine and pretty accurate. Problem is when I
go to take the cylinder release pin out so I can clean it it will not come all the way up in order to take the cylinder out. Has anyone else had this problem and how do you solve it? Thanks.

What's stopping the cylinder pin from coming all the way forward? Is it hitting the ejector rod button?

So what can I do to correct that problem?

It depends on what the problem is. Once again, what's stopping it?

I just checked mine, try opening the loading gate then pulling the cylinder pin up. Should drop freely...

Yep, that's how it's supposed to work, but the OP says his pin doesn't go all the way.
