On 05/15/2013 my wife was officailly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). We are maintaining production, and adjusting processes in order to still deliver the best product out there in an abbreviated time. However, we do ask that you understand emails may take a little longer to reply to and the phone will often not be answered while we learn and adjust to a new "normal." Our "web presence" will also be diminished for awhile. We (Mrs.TCB and I) are dedicated to fighting through this and carving out the life we want, not just what was dealt. Thank you for your understanding at this time.

Please keep Mrs.TCB in your thoughts as she begins her battle.

Jason, so sorry to hear about your wife's condition. But based on the illustration that you've attached - I think you and your wife have the right attitude - and that's important!

For what it's worth, my sister-in-law has been fighting this since the mid-80's. She finds the hot weather to be "draining" and finds that frequent rest and visits to the physical therapist are very beneficial.

Thankfully, they've come along way in developing medications for treatment - so hopefully they'll be able to keep it in check.

UPDATE...sort of....
After 11ty Billion tests the MS is 100% confirmed and symptom treatments have begun. Treatment of the actual MS will take about another 4 weeks to start. (Yeah insurance, FML... the "confirmation" and "approval" process is FUCKED) Some of the dizzy spells and tingling has started to reduce. So that is GREAT, final MS confirmation is done through a "spinal tap"...well the also discovered she has a form of spinal meningitis.
Beaten up, but not broken by the news.
Thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers. Don't know if they are working but right now I will take any edge we can get

Wow. If it rains, it pours.

Is the meningitis Bacterial or Viral?

Viral, so it should pass with little more than fatigue and headaches....maybe a fever? Next neurological appointment, moved up. Mentally this is the biggest blow to her so far, the rest we took in stride but this has really shaken her resolve. Slowly she is climbing back up.....
Thanks again to everyone

There was a spinal meningitis problem going through Fort Lewis Washington when I was in Basic Training in the Army, and that's why I asked.

It was viral.

Best wishes to you and yours Jason.

I'm not a praying type of guy, but I will keep your family in my thoughts.

Hang in there bud.
