I have heard of it, dreamed of having it, and fallen in love with it. However, I cannot now, nor will I be able to afford it anytime soon. It would awesome to shoot though. I looked up the price and I think it starts around $13,000.

Not alot of 20mm surplus out there that is not HE (high explosive), but I found a website that charges $15 for practice ammo, and around $10 just for the brass.

wow. there was an 8500.00$ Lahti on skis at TIm's Gun Shop in Lakeland FL back in 2003 that I drooled on...but if you don't have access to 20mm brass you're hurt'in. Get a friend at the gunnery ranges.....if you're lucky enough to own an old solothurn or Lahti?

And Dillon doesn't make a 20mm reloader YET ! Reloading would be the only way to shoot that gun.

I have fired a Lahti once a while back. It kicks like a mule.

LOL! MY theory: I have friends with expensive trucks so I don't have to spend that kinda scratch. My jeep will get me much further than those trucks anyway.

I keep my truck because it's PAID OFF, it goes everywhere I would want to go, I can carry a shit ton of stuff in it, parts are cheap, the 88-98 series of Chevrolet trucks are built with good components, and they are easy to work on.

I've got 213,000+ almost trouble free miles on that thing. If I fall into a bunch of money, I'll probably put a new motor in it. Everything else has been rebuilt, mostly by me, so it's very dependable.
