I had originally ordered the 5.11 Tactical RUSH 24, however, once it arrived I determined it was too small for my intended use. What I should have originally ordered was the 5.11 Tactical RUSH 72, which I put another order in for.

Here is the 5.11 Tactical RUSH 24:

Not sure who you order from, but I can get 5.11 gear fairly reasonably. Condor as well. I do my best to beat all the other online sources.

I picked up this bag from US Patriot. Good to know what you have as I will be needing some pouches in the future :)

Received the pack today...yes, quite a bit larger than the RUSH 24!

Looking forward to packing it full of all kinds of fun stuff and getting out there and using it!

HAHA actually I did take some but figured with the pictures in the first post of the topic that people already knew what it looked like.

Is there a specific portion of the pack that you would like to see? Worse case, I am sure you will be seeing it sooner than later ;)

I like the Rush packs, they seem nice. If I didn't have my SoTech assualt pack I would probably look at the RUSH series. I need a better backpacking pack though.

Diesel is the 72 designed as a 3-day assault pack or something else?

I believe the intention of the bag is to be a 72 hour bag.

Knowing that 5.11 learns more toward designing gear for law enforcement the Rush series are designed as "go bags". Something that you can keep some clothes, toiletries, and extra ammo if you get stuck in a disaster response scenario. I have one of the 1st gen Rush 24's that I use as carry on bag when I travel.

To be honest, I was sold on the 5.11 pack when Glen (Rizzo) mentioned he had heard good things about them and then John (Bombguy) said he used their RUSH 24 while deployed.
