here is my faithful 3200 competition skeet gun that ive shot for years. time marches on and i must part with it. it has performed extremely well for me and i hate to let it go. let me take you thru its history. i bought this gun from a fellow out west. he had just sent it to laibs for a routine look over to give it a thumbs up and he had the forearm wood and iron changed on it. it was recommended that it have the laibs firing pin flash hole mod done soon and the ejector spring mod. so far, 11 years later, its still working ok. but, im letting you know it will be due soon. what makes this gun unique is that it hasnt been butchered by fad chasers and trendies. only 880 sets were made from remington. most have been chopped and ruined. the stock may have my early style soft kickeze pad on it bringing the lop to 14 3/4", but the wood was never cut. im including the original pad with it and it fits perfectly. i had the stock glassed to help keep the famous 3200 crack from reforming. yes, it had one near the trigger guard. less than an 1/2 inch, but it has been repaired. i dare you to find it. its that good. amazingly, the barrels were not backbored, not ported, and are factory condition. all 4 28" barrels have factory fixed chokes skeet/skeet. all barrels lock up tight on the receiver at a solid 5 oclock. targets poof. they pattern perfectly. carry wear on the bottom of the receiver is minimum. finger wear on the trigger guard is seen, it has classic dings and scratches from lots of good serious skeet shooting. but overall, its exceptionally clean. the 410 bbl has a small pit on the right side of the top of the flat. all beads are factory and intact. all ejectors function, in time, and are not bent. safety is installed. new firing pins were installed in 2006. except for the new wood and forearm iron, all numbers match. shiny bores. stock shows polycoat finish wear and can use a new clear coat. zero cast. no palm swells. gun comes with a laibs service flyer, a factory repair manual, owners manual, and original hang tags. gun case is tattered, beat, and could use a replacement. handle fell off years ago and was repaired with shroud line. combo lock works and combo can be set. if youre looking for a classic skeet gun with a fabulous reputation, the 3200 competition skeet is it. tube sets may have taken the market, but there is a surge in interest for old barrel sets. this is a rare puppy.
