I have been reading good things about this rifle. I have not seen one yet in person and I was wondering what anyone has heard about this. I like the idea of a lightweight, large caliber, short barrel rifle. Thoughts or input?

Looks like a nice rifle, I think for the money I would try to get into a .308 AR :good:

good review in G&A, but for 700 bills without the scope ? pricey.... if you have the money go fo it!

or you could find a good M44 mosin nagant, get a darryl's scout mount and a LER scope plus 2500 rounds of light ball, treat us all to a steak and beer dinner with little umbrella drinks, take the wife out for a nice dinner, buy another 1000 rounds of ammo and still have money left over for shoot'nC' targets.....

I will have to check it out. I just like the idea of that shorter barrel concept. Thanks for the input guys.

It sounds like getting the Mosin would be the best idea for everybody!

best fun rifle I've had at the range. You can stick it in the ground instead of leaning or laying down, bayonet sh*t!, throw a 2 foot muzzle flash, raise a foot of concussion dust, throw 200 grains at stuff, under 200 bucks for 440 rounds and the rifle. it's a gimme in my book. :) Posted Image

A ruger gunsite scout is on my short list. I like the way they look, feel and handle.

Having only handled them at the gun store the Ruger Scout feels a little lightweight for a 308. I do want one though.
