I am looking for a good quality mil-dot scope to mount on my .308 that will not break the bank. I know there are several options available but I want to see what you guys use or have first hand knowledge of. I would be very pleased to spend around $600 or so. Right now I am running an Alaskan Bushguide series from Cabela's. It is a great scope but I am looking tp upgrade a bit.

I have a nice Vortex Crossfire 6-24x50 Mil-Dot, mounted once and later sold the rifle. Let me know if you're interested.

I have used a few Nikon Buckmasters. I liked them very much and were closer to $300-400.

For the price range, Vortex is a great choice.

This is a great scope to upgrade your rifle.
